Chief Operating Officer

Paula Andrews.

You may not see most of what Paula does — and that’s the point. As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, she’s the reason your questions get answered quickly, your documents are where they should be, and your plan keeps moving from the first phone call to the last signature. When the process feels calm and organized, Paula is usually the reason.

She has spent more than two decades keeping law firms running well, from boutique practices to large, multi-office regional firms. Before Helms Law Group, she led operations as Chief Operating Officer of Clark Partington in Pensacola and as Executive Director of Hartman Simons & Wood in Atlanta. She and Brent now run the firm side by side, which frees Brent to do what he loves — practice law and help Alabama families protect what they’ve built.

Paula calls Fairhope home. She’s a devoted wife, the proud mother of five grown sons, and grandmother to eight grandchildren who keep her on her toes — and away from the office, you’ll find her traveling, reading, or deep in a lively game of Mahjong.
